Here are several questions that we are often asked:
Q: Will EquiPride
or EquiLix make my horse "hot"?
A: No. An abundance of undigested starches
and sugars reaching the cecum is the main cause of a "hot" horse.
The starches and sugars contained in EquiPrise have already been
broken down in the manufacturing process.
In fact, our customers tell us that their horses are noticeably
calmer and more content on EquiPride, yet they have the energy and
endurance necessary to work and perform at their best.
Q: Should I give the recommended amount of EquiPride immediately,
or do I need to introduce it slowly?
A: You can feed the recommended amount of EquiPride immediately.
As described above, the starches and sugars it contains are already
broken down; and EquiPride is is designed for the highest bioavailability
to the horse's body.
Q: Is EquiPride safe to combine with my horse's current medications?
A: EquiPride is a nutritional supplement, so it can be used in conjunction
with whatever medication program your veterinarian recommends. EquiPride
allows the horse to absorb nutrients more effectively, which in turn
helps to strengthen the immune system and hasten the healing process.
Q: How do I
get my "picky eater" to
take EquiPride?
A: Many picky eaters accept EquiPride without hesitation, but for
those who don't, we offer a number of suggestions:
1) Start with only a 1/4 teaspoon of EquiPride per feeding and gradually
increase over a few weeks until you reach the recommended dosage.
2) Spray a small amount of apple cider vinegar on
EquiPride.
3) Put EquiPride in a separate bucket and let the
horse discover it on its own.
4) Mix EquiPride with beat pulp.
5) Mix EquiPride with apple sauce.
6) Mix EquiPride with crushed, sugar free peppermints.
Once a picky eater accepts EquiPride, they'll stay on it and lick
their feed trough clean! |
