Dr. Rob Thoni DVM of Kilgore Veterinary Associates in Kilgore, TX uses EquiPride exclusively in his practice. 

A graduate of Oklahoma State University he’s been in practice for 28 years.  Ninety-five percent of the practice deals with equine surgery, internal medicine, foot repair and lameness issues.
 
In 2003 Dr. Thoni was consulted by SweetPro Feeds concerning what he would like to see included in EquiPride.   He has used EquiPride ever since and now uses it exclusively in his practice.  Every horse that comes into the hospital is placed on EquiPride immediately and stays on EquiPride the entire time it is there. 
 
Dr. Thoni says that EquiPride benefits them in 4 important areas:
 
1.  Improved Body Condition.   Both young and old horses (especially older horses) are helped with weight gain, improved hair coats and body condition.  The hot and cold winters in Texas take a toll on the horse’s body and EquiPride makes the difference.                                    
                                                   
2.  Lameness and Increased Foot Growth.  Dr. Thoni says, We get tremendous foot growth from EquiPride and it in turn also improves our lameness issues.
 
3.  Surgery and Recovery.  EquiPride helps horses recover quickly from surgery.  Dr. Thoni says, We do 10 to 15 surgeries a week and EquiPride helps improve our recovery rate, especially on bone surgeries.  EquiPride helps establish good gut flora, increases the immune response and also helps the horses recover from colic surgery, long term anti-biotic use and painkillers. 
                                                                                
4.   Ulcers.  EquiPride helps reduce degradation of the gut and stomach.  Dr. Thoni says, We get many performance horses with ulcers.  Once we get them healed up we put them on EquiPride and WE DON’T HAVE ANY MORE ULCERS.  EquiPride is the only thing we need to do.  We have documented hundreds of cases and we don’t need any other medications when using EquiPride.
 
Dr. Thoni says, This product has been a great addition to our practice, the  effect on the horses is tremendous and I couldn’t ask for a better product to aid us.  I highly recommend EquiPride to any horse owner.  To provide better balanced nutrition, to improve haircoat, foot growth and immune response.  It will help improve the performance horse’s ability to work and it is the best feed additive I have ever used.
